Ownership

Everything on this website belongs to Ekkayi Atelier LLP or is used with permission: the text, the photographs, the sketches and drawings, the renders and generated images, the three-dimensional models and animations, the layout, the code that presents them and the trade names and marks. This includes the name Ekkayi, the name Ekkayi Atelier, the Ekkayi mark, and the names of the pieces themselves.

The designs of the pieces are original works of the studio's architects and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and, where registered, the Designs Act, 2000. The studio's names and marks are protected by the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and by the law of passing off whether or not they are registered. Copying a design, in a drawing or in a made object, is an infringement.

  • Share links to its pages, including with the share buttons the website provides, so long as the page is shown as it is and its source is clear.

What you may not do without written permission

  • Reproduce, download, alter or redistribute any photograph, drawing, render or animation.
  • Reproduce any piece, or any part of one, or make a piece to its design.
  • Use the studio's names, marks or the names of its pieces in connection with any other product, service or business, or in any way that suggests a connection with the studio.

  • Frame any page of the website inside another website, or present its content as your own.

Press, publishers, stockists and collaborators are welcome: write to team@ekkayi.com and say what you would like to use and where. High-resolution images and the correct forms of the names are available on request.

Third-party material

Where the website uses material that belongs to someone else, for example a typeface or a software library, it does so under that owner's licence, and the owner's rights are theirs. Nothing on the website should be taken as granting any right in third-party material.

If you believe something here infringes your rights

Tell us. Write to grievance@ekkayi.com with the subject line "Copyright", identifying the material on our website, the work of yours you believe it infringes, evidence that the work is yours, and your contact details. We will acknowledge the notice within seven days and, where the complaint is made out, remove or correct the material. Knowingly false notices may make you liable for the loss they cause.
