Ekkayi Atelier LLP's website uses cookies only where the shop cannot work without them: to keep your bag, to keep you signed in, and to let the browser that placed an order see it again. None of them is used for analytics, advertising or to follow you elsewhere. Because they are all strictly necessary, the website does not ask for consent to them, and there is no cookie banner.

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep and send back with every later request, so the site can recognise you between pages or visits. Cookies are how most websites remember logins and bags, and also how many measure audiences and follow visitors for advertising. This website does only the first.

• ekkayi_bag: a random number that finds your bag, so it survives a closed tab. Set when you first add something, or when you follow the link in a bag reminder; lasts sixty days.
• ekkayi_bag_n: how many pieces are in your bag, so the header can show the count. Holds only that number; lasts sixty days.
• ekkayi_account: keeps you signed in to your account. Set when you sign in; lasts thirty days, or until you sign out.
• ekkayi_signed_in: says only that someone has signed in on this browser, so pages know to ask for your saved pieces. It grants nothing; lasts thirty days.
• ekkayi_orders: the references of up to five orders placed from this browser, each with a check that only our server can make, so you can open their confirmation pages. Lasts thirty days.
• ekkayi_studio: the studio team's sign-in to its own panel. Visitors never receive it.

None of these can be read by any other website. The ones that matter for security (your bag, your sign-in and your orders) cannot be read by scripts on the page either.

When you first open the site in a tab, the studio's mark draws itself on screen. So that this plays once rather than on every page, the site keeps a single flag in that tab's session storage, a space your browser provides that is separate from cookies. The flag says only that the animation has been seen. It is never sent to us or to anyone, and is discarded when you close the tab.

The only third-party script is Razorpay's checkout, and it loads only on the checkout page, when you choose to pay online. Typefaces are served from our own site, not from a font service. There are no embedded videos, maps or social feeds. Where a page links out to Instagram, Google Maps or WhatsApp, following the link takes you to that service, which may set cookies of its own under its own policy. Razorpay's checkout window may set the cookies it needs to take the payment safely, under its own policy.

If the studio later adds something that uses cookies for any other purpose, most likely audience measurement, this page will be rewritten to say what is set, by whom, for how long and why, and any cookie that is not strictly necessary will be set only after you agree to it. The date at the top of this page is the date it was last true.

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data through its settings. You can browse the website with cookies blocked, but the bag, checkout and account will not work.

This website was designed and built by Tosh Tech as a contractor to Ekkayi Atelier LLP. Tosh Tech's work is the software: the pages, their code and their hosting set-up.

Everything the website says and shows is Ekkayi Atelier LLP's. All text, photographs, drawings, renders, product names, specifications, availability and prices were supplied by Ekkayi Atelier LLP and are published on its instruction. Ekkayi Atelier LLP alone is responsible for their accuracy, their lawfulness and for any promise they make. Tosh Tech has not verified them, makes no representation about them, and accepts no liability to any visitor or customer in respect of them.

Any personal information collected through the website is collected by and for Ekkayi Atelier LLP, which decides why and how it is used. Tosh Tech does not receive, hold or use that information for its own purposes.
